I found almost all the pieces for my Sally Halloween costume on Amazon. The dress, wig, tights, and socks are all from Amazon and I wore a pair of black ankle boots I already had (similar here).
I DIYed a little bit of my costume by drawing the stitches on my tights with a black sharpie. The sharpie did bleed trough a little bit and left a light line on on my legs but it easily came off with my makeup eraser cloth in the shower. For the stitches on my arms, neck, and face I used a black eyeliner pencil. To see a video of me drawing on my face, arms, and tights click here and here.
Some of the Sally costumes I found on Amazon only had the pattern on the front of the dress and not the back. Since the pattern is all over on this dress you could easily wear it again after Halloween! Dress fits true to size. I’m wearing a size small.

This year our family Halloween costumes included our dog Sydney too! You can see our past couples Halloween costumes here, and here.
His costume came together quite easily. All I did was find a scrap of white fabric and a red ribbon, both of which I already had. Next, I sewed them together and tied his ghost costume around his neck. Sadly, it was so muddy outside that his costume got ruined halfway through our photo shoot so we had to take it off.
Jack Skellington
My husband’s Jack Skellington Halloween costume was super easy to put together! He only needed two things. This pajama onesie and a matching face mask. Lastly, he paired it with some black sneakers he already had. He said his costume was super warm so great costume choice if it’s going to be cold where you are!
