What I’ve Been Up To So Far This Year
It’s hard to believe It’s been a full month since my last post! Things have been CRAZY around here and incase you haven’t seen my announcement on Instagram, Nathan & I sold our house!
Our beloved house that we’ve been fixing up over the past 6 years ended up selling in one day! Then after our plans to build a brand new house fell through, we quickly regretted selling it. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) we couldn’t back out of the sale of our home, so we had to go back to the drawing board to figure out what we really wanted. We decided we didn’t want another fixer upper and we wanted to move further outside of town. Thankfully, after a month of searching we found a less than one year old house that we loved, it’s 20 minuets away from town, and is right next to a large park where we can ride our bikes and walk our dog. We love it so much and I can’t wait to show you around!
Update On Where I’ve Been Over The Past Month
Besides all the drama with the sale of our house, Nathan has been very sick with Covid-pneumonia followed by a bad reaction to the vaccine for the last two and a half months! So, I’ve had to put everything on hold around here to take care of him and deal with the move. Now that things have started to settle down after our move, and Nathan is on the mend, I plan to resume my regular posting schedule of one blog post every Monday. I have several outfit posts and a fun before and after post styling our new back yard patio coming up soon!

Round Sunglasses
I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of round retro sunglasses for quite some time now, and I’m so happy I found these! I purchased them a few months ago from Amazon and they look and feel way more expensive than they are. I’m wearing the gray lenses with gold frames, but they do come in several different colors. Perfect sunnies for summer!
White Linen Top
I wear this white linen top all year round, but my favorite time to wear it is in the summer. It’s so comfortable, breathable, and looks great with anything from shorts to jeans, to swimsuits, to layered over dresses. You can see all the way’s I’ve styled this top here.
Paper Bag Jeans
I LOVE a good paper bag waist and these jogger jeans are just too cute! Try styling them with a tank top body suit to really show off your waistline & keep yourself cool in the summertime.
Cardigan
Cardigans are the perfect light layer to throw on on cool summer evenings. Also if you’re anything like me, I usually wear a cardigan indoors in the summertime when I get too cold from the air conditioning.
