I’ve been finding myself wearing some combination of this outfit on a regular basis. So today I thought it would be fun to share my go to fall outfit so you can recreate this look at home.
Outfit Details: Modetalente Turtleneck c/o, Chicwish Jacket c/o, Kancan Jeans (similar here), Sperry Booties (similar here, here, and here), Coach Purse (similar here and here)
Lightweight Jackets
I rarely leave the house now without a lightweight jacket. This wool coat is so soft and cozy while also being very lightweight. It’s the perfect light layer for fall, plus the color goes with just about everything!
Solid Sweaters
Plain solid sweaters make for great layering pieces. They look nice when worn alone or when layered under a jacket, shacket, coat, or blazer. Most days you’ll find me wearing a solid long sleeve sweater with just about all my outfits.
FYI a shacket is a shirt thick enough to be in-between a shirt and a jacket making it a great layering piece. See the shacket I wore last year here.
A Brown Purse
A brown purse is one of my must haves for fall! I find myself wearing more brown this time of year and a nice bag quickly elevates even the most basic of outfits. This bag (similar here) is one of my favorites because of its structured shape and that it can be carried, worn as a crossbody, or over the shoulder.
Ankle Boots
Ankle boots are perfect for fall temperatures. They’re great for days that go from warm to cold and they look great with sweaters, jeans, and even dresses.
Jeans
Lastly my go to fall outfit wouldn’t be complete without a good pair of jeans! Once fall weather hit here in IL one of the first things I started wearing again was my jeans. It goes without saying that jeans match everything and can easily be dressed up or down. Mine are no longer available but I love these Levis I found on Amazon.
