Excited to share another monthly style diary blog post! My husband and I spent most days riding our new bikes, we celebrated the 4th of July and the start of summer, and we started a kitchen renovation.
FRIDAY, JULY 3RD
Most week days my husband and I would ride our bikes after work. It was a great way to end the day and something to look forward to.

SATURDAY, JULY 4TH
For the 4th of July my husband and I spent the day with my family grilling out, setting off fireworks, and we ended the day by riding our bikes around Parkland College.

THURSDAY, JULY 9TH
Sadly our fridge stopped working and since the repairs are going to cost more than the price of a new fridge we decided to buy a brand new one. We ended up buying this one that we found at Lowe’s. Plus, we decided now was a great time to remodel our kitchen since it’s going to take 2 weeks to get our new fridge delivered. We’re going to start by painting our original kitchen cabinets and go from there!

THURSDAY, JULY 16TH
Today my husband and I went shopping for our kitchen renovation. We already picked out our new appliances. Besides the fridge we ended up buying a new microwave too since it was the only appliance in our kitchen that wasn’t stainless steel. And today we’re shopping for new countertops to replace the laminate ones we have.

Sunday’s outfit for Church. We also stopped by at Lowe’s too because we finally decided on a kitchen counter top. We went with this quartz one that looks like carrara marble.

Today our new appliances are finally being delivered! We’ve been without a fridge for over 3 weeks and we’re so excited to have a working fridge again. Plus a brand new microwave that’s not held together buy duct tape!
