It’s been so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the sunny weather lately! Since it’s already starting to feel like summer here in Illinois I’m reaching for my linen pieces more and more these days to stay cool and comfortable.

STAY COOL AND COMFORTABLE IN WHITE THIS SUMMER
Besides wearing linen, white clothing is another great way to stay cool and comfortable in the heat. The only problem with white clothing is that it can be difficult to figure out what to wear underneath. In order to keep your underwear from showing through make sure to match your underwear to the color of your skin not the color of the clothing.

PICNIC BLANKETS
One of my favorite pastimes in the spring and summer is to finding the perfect spot to lay out in the grass and read. This light blue sheet has belonged to husband since he was little and makes for the perfect picnic blanket. Plus, it’s light and thin enough to carry in my purse for impromptu picnics.
