Several months ago before the COVID-19 pandemic I had the pleasure of traveling to Bloomington, IL for an editorial photo shoot to be photographed by Cori Strong in her studio. Her beautiful studio was the perfect backdrop for these amazing editorial photos. I absolutely loved being photographed by her!

MY EXPERIENCE

I chose to do an editorial photo shoot with Cori and I LOVE how the photos turned out! Cori made the whole experience enjoyable and stress free from beginning to end. From the time we set a date to the day of the photo shoot Cori took care of everything. She even created a Pinterest mood board for me with ideas on what to wear, how to pose, and the overall look she envisioned for me. I absolutely loved her vision and appreciated her hand holding through this whole experience.
The day of our photo shoot she showered me with snacks, a sweet thank you card, and a gift basket of full of local goodies. She definitely knows how to take care of her clients!
HOW I CHOSE WHAT TO WEAR

When deciding what to wear I took my cue from Cori’s Pinterest mood board. The editorial photos she pinned were of women dressed in neutrals and solids colors which is how I prefer to dress anyway. I chose several of my favorite pieces in shades of black, gray, white, cream, blue, and pink and mixed and matched them until I was happy with the outcome.
FYI if you’re ever uninspired by your current wardrobe, Pinterest is a great place for fresh ideas on how to wear clothing you already have.
