November was such a busy month with my husband Nathan and I going on two trips! We usually only travel about once a year or every other year so this was extra special. First, we went to Chicago for the weekend for a wedding right before a week long stay in the Bahamas. Read on to see all the outfits I wore during this month of travels.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST
On Friday morning Nathan and I drove up to Chicago for the weekend. It was our first time staying in the city and we had so much fun exploring and taking pictures.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND
On Saturday Nathan and I attended a wedding in Chicago for one of our oldest friends who also happened to be in our wedding. Nathan was in the wedding party as a groomsmen and since I was not apart of the wedding party I chose to wear this lace burgundy dress. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD
On Sunday my husband and I checked out of our beautiful suite at the Fairmont (where the 3rd night free when staying 3 consecutive nights!) and we walked just down the street to The Art Institute of Chicago before driving back home. We’ve never been to The Art Institute before and I didn’t want to miss this opportunity since it was so close. Plus, they were featuring the works of Andy Warhol – From A to B and Back Again and the exhibition was definitely worth the visit!

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH
Saturday was my mom’s birthday and as a gift my sisters and I scheduled a family photo shoot as well as a surprise party later that day with all her friends. After pictures that morning my husband and I stopped by this adorable little pie/breakfast place for coffee and a breakfast pie. It definitely hit the spot after a chilly morning photo shoot.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH AM
On Tuesday morning Nathan and I arrived in the Bahamas! After we got settled into our room we checked out the resort and the private offshore island that’s just a mile away. The picture above is at the private island.

We decided to take a little break from the beach and play some tennis. Mostly we just served the ball to each other since we weren’t wearing the right shoes. It was so much fun next time I’ll have to remember to pack a pair of tennis shoes.

I decided to wear my romper this time as a swimsuit cover up over my olive green swimsuit (not pictured). Love how easy it is to dress this romper up or down.

Just about every afternoon and/or evening we would relax in our outdoor soaking tub. It was like our own private hot tup and the perfect way to end the day.

On Tuesday afternoon we traveled back to cold Illinois. I wore a t-shirt and jeans for my travel outfit with a light jacket and fuzzy slippers in my bag to wear once we got back home. For our luggage all we took was one carry-on suitcase that we split between the two of us. I also had this giant tote bag and my husband carried a backpack.

I recently worked with Bootay Bag a monthly underwear subscription where they send you 1, 2, or 4 new undies each month. I loved the subscription so much I signed up after working with them.
