I’ve been a fan of biker shorts for YEARS and I’m so happy they’re finally back in style! Biker shorts look great with t-shirts, sweaters (perfect for fall!), & blazers like I’m wearing here. They can also be dressed up with heels or down with sneakers.

BIKER SHORTS
While shopping at Fira, a local boutique, I came across these black biker shorts (they come in 15 colors!) by Free People and I knew right away my closet needed them. Biker shorts are so versatile just like leggings! Wear them with a cozy sweater to the airport, pair them with a t-shirt to run errands, or dress them up with heels & a blazer for a date night.
GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS
I paired my black shorts with a matching band tee (similar here, here, & here) to play up the edgy vibe of this look. Graphic t-shirts or band tees are great for layering. Not only do they look great alone, but layered under cardigans or blazers.
NEON
During NY Fashion Week neons were having a moment especially hot pink. I’m sure we’ll be seeing lots more of this color come spring, but it’s been fun to start incorporating it now. To give this black tee, shorts, & heels look a little pop of color I wore this neon bag (other neon pink bags here, here, & here). I also love the splash of neon orange across my band tee. OVERSIZED BLAZERS
Blazers are classic and perfect to wear all year round, but I especially love wearing them in the fall. They make the perfect transitional piece and can easily be layered over camis, t-shirts, sweaters, and even dresses. This one I found last year at my local Gordmans, but I also like this one, this one, & this one.
