My Wednesday nights are spent at church teaching the teens for youth group along side my husband, Nathan. I paired this distressed denim jacket with a similar colored pair of jeans and styled it with a black and white pom pom sweater and black combat boots.

On Saturday morning my husbands family & I left for their hometown of Joliet, IL for the weekend which is 2 hours away. The church my Father-In-Law used to pastor before coming to pastor our church just celebrated their 50th anniversary! They invited us all up there to celebrate for the weekend. I kept my travel outfit comfy in a pair of distressed jeans and my favorite fuzzy mules.

I spent the afternoon in Joliet, IL getting the “tour” of my husband & his families old neighborhood, favorite places to eat/hang out etc. That evening we checked into our hotel and changed for dinner where they celebrated all the pastors the church has had over the years. I wore this Express sweater dress paired with my favorite belt and over the knee boots.
