During cooler months (and warmer months too!) I gravitate towards neutrals & darker hues, but it’s fun to mix things up every now and then.

I get so many complements on these light pink & gold tassel earrings (similar here, here & here) every time I wear them. I can hardly believe I found them at my local Gordmans for only $3! They’re easily my favorite pair thanks to how light they are, how well they match my skin tone so I can wear them like a neutral, and I love the gold detailing. Fun statement earrings are an easy way to add a touch of pastel to your winter outfits. Pastel Plaid Scarf

My Mother-In-Law gifted me this scarf for Christmas (you can the scarf she gifted me last year here) and I love the pale pink, baby blue, and light brown this softer than cashmere scarf has. Layering in a scarf for warmth during the winter is a no-brainer, but choosing a pastel scarf is a fresh take on this classic cold weather staple.

Pastel Chain Purse

This pretty blue purse adds just the right amount of color/cheerfulness to an otherwise basic cardigan & leggings look. Plus, I love the way it brings out the pale blue color in this scarf.

All of these pastel pieces (earrings, scarf, purse) are accessories since they’re so easy/inexpensive to incorporating into any winter wardrobe. Another option but it’s a lot more cost/commitment is a pastel coat. Love this pink belted coat, this pink wool blended one, and this teddy coat that comes in pastel blue.
