Gordmans Grand Opening In Lincoln, IL

I’m so excited to share that Gordmans new location in Lincoln, IL is now open! The store is not only beautiful, but filled with so many great finds. If you live close by I highly recommend checking it out. To find the location nearest to you click here.

Since this was the first ribbon cutting ceremony I’ve attended I didn’t exactly know what to expect, but one thing I knew for sure is that Gordmans is always so generous. At each of their 5 grand openings this year Gordmans presented the local community with a donation.

Gordmans gave a generous check to Lincoln High School before the ribbon was cut and the shopping began!

The first 100 guests each received a tote bag and a $5 gift card. The tote bag came in very handy that day since there were so many shoppers the store ran out of shopping carts!

Gordmans always has such a great selection of perfumes and colognes. My husband always stocks up on his favorite (Lacoste) but I still haven’t settled on a signature sent yet. I like trying something new each time.

The displays throughout the new store were so pretty! How cute is this farmhouse section?

Love that Gordmans carries a large selection of makeup including brands like NYX.

Accessories like bags and shoes are always one of my favorite things to buy since they can completely transform an outfit. I found several cute purses by Guess, Juicy Couture, and Michael Kors.

I went home with this Michael Kors purse in blue

After shopping the whole store I saved the clothing section for last since I knew that’s where I would do the most damage! I couldn’t have been more right since Gordmans had a huge selection of Express clothing and I ended up with armfuls to try on.

One of my favorite finds of the day was this lavender velvet Express top with bow sleeves. The top retailed for $80 but was at Gordmans for only $8! Such a steal!

Checking out with all my great finds including that blue Michael Kors purse.

I went home with two Express sweaters. The lavender one with bow sleeves was only $8. The maroon sweater that looks so cute off the shoulder was also an Express find for $15. Lastly this gray cardigan by Ambiance was so soft I couldn’t pass it up plus it was only $11! It will be so cozy to throw on during cool days.

I also found several dresses (all by Express!) that are perfect for the holidays. I plan on wearing this silver sequined dress for New Year’s Eve, plus this black floral dress & pink sweater dress will be perfect for church and/or holiday parties this winter. All three dresses were only $15 each!

Outfit Details: Ambiance Apparel Cardigan, Madewell Top, and YMI Jeans all from Gordmans c/o

My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby in my arms, a toddler crawling into my bed and falling asleep on my shoulder, & a doggie sleeping across my legs. 💕 They have no idea what today is, but I’m feeling so blessed to be surrounded by all my babies on Mother’s Day 👶🐶👧 Even if it was at 4am 🥱

Not pictured our dog Sydney. 🐶 I’m so tired I didn’t even notice until after we got these pictures 🤪 I knew I was forgetting something! 🙈

After laboring at home for 2 hours we JUST made it to the hospital maybe 45 minutes before he came out with 2 quick pushes! It all happened so fast my head is still spinning. 🥹

So thankful my SIL @thedivinemissem77 answered her phone and came quickly to stay with Audrey & my hubby @npbrady9 taking care of everything else as we rushed to the hospital. ♥️ God is so good & we couldn’t be happier with the newest member of our family 🤗
