Last weekend my husband and I traveled to Lincoln, IL to attend the grand opening of a new Gordmans store. The one hour drive couldn’t have been prettier thanks to the fall foliage. Before making the drive back home we tried to capture some of the beautiful fall foliage we saw all around us.

Belt
I’ve been wearing this GG belt (original here) non stop since I bought it. I’ve worn it over dresses, belted over cardigans & coats, and worn with jeans like I did here. This belt goes with just about everything and makes every outfit look more chic.
Cozy Cardigan
This Ambiance Apparel cardigan (similar here) is so soft! Plus, it looks great left open like I did here or worn with a belt over it. Style tip: try wearing a long cardigan over a black t-shirt and leggings. Next add a belt over the cardigan to close it. The all black look especially when paired with a black belt on top looks so chic and really shows off the cardigan as seen here.
Hunter Rain Boots
I finally updated my first pair of $15 black rain boots (last seen here) that I’ve had for maybe 7+ years?! I decided to invest in these Hunter rain boots and I couldn’t be happier with them! They’re perfect to wear in the spring and fall with everything from jeans to dresses to leggings.
