They weren’t kidding when they said April showers bring May flowers. It’s been raining off and on for the past several weeks, but despite the temperature drop everything is growing like crazy. This past week we purchased Edison-Style String Lights to hang above our deck, and I can’t wait for some sunshine and dry weather so I can get out there and enjoy them.
As you can imagine these rain boots have come in quite handy the last several weeks. I paired them with this warm & cozy black sweater dress (no need for a coat), but in order to keep the dress from looking too wintery, I layered in a chambray shirt. I’ve used this dress to layer before, (you can find the blog post here), only that time I layered the bottom half with a skirt.
