Graffiti & Lace

I love finding luxury looking items in unexpected places. Several years ago (honestly probably more like a decade) while shopping with my sister at an outlet mall I found this high collar lace front top at Rue21. I think it was the first, and quite possibly only time I’ve shopped there, but I’m so glad I did. It quickly became (and still is to this day) one of my favorite pieces. I love how it elevates anything I pair it with.

You may not know immediately an item is something you’ll cherish for years to come but, you can start buying smarter. A good rule of thumb is to buy items in neutrals. Not only will they match a lot, they’ll also be less likely to go out of style. Personally, I consider stripes (in neutral tones & navy), animal prints, denim, shades of blue, skin tones, as well as the obvious black, white, gray, and brown as neutrals.

Also look for items with a special detail. Like for instance my cream colored lace front top. I love the high neck and V shaped ruffles. It completely stood out amongst several cotton tank-tops and t-shirts in the store.

Lastly, just because a store is geared towards a younger audience and/or the prices are inexpensive doesn’t mean you can’t find a gem in there.

Outfit Details: Rue21 Top / Calvin Klein Cardigan (similar here) / Gap Pants (similar here) / Invicta Watch / Louis Vuitton Clutch / Steve Madden Heels (similar here)

    love your style!
If black off shoulder dress keeps women a sense of mystery. Then yellow long dress shows the neat and pure of a girl.

My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby in my arms, a toddler crawling into my bed and falling asleep on my shoulder, & a doggie sleeping across my legs. 💕 They have no idea what today is, but I’m feeling so blessed to be surrounded by all my babies on Mother’s Day 👶🐶👧 Even if it was at 4am 🥱

Not pictured our dog Sydney. 🐶 I’m so tired I didn’t even notice until after we got these pictures 🤪 I knew I was forgetting something! 🙈
