I love the thrill of the hunt, and nothing gives me that thrill quite like thrift store shopping. Whether it’s for home decor, or clothing, I never know what amazing things I might come across often at rock bottom prices.
One of my favorite clothing thrift stores was having a huge sale (during Super Bowl Sunday) and I happened to score a couple of great items. The only down side to thrift store shopping is going over board and buying things just because their inexpensive.
I like to ask myself a few questions before I check out to make sure that doesn’t happen to me. Would I pay full price for this? Is this filling a need I have? Am I just buying this because it’s cheep? Am I just buying this because it’s at a thrift store? I found several adorable sweaters that day, but nothing that I loved until I saw this bright purple/peach Madewell sweater. It looks like it is no longer available on their site, but I found a few similar brightly colored sweaters to choose from here, here, or here.

I fell in love as soon as I saw this bag. I love a good top handle/crossbody strap combo as evidenced by one of my favorite bags seen here, here, and here. They are just so versatile as to how they can be worn. Over the shoulder, across the body, or held by the handle. So, I knew this bag would get a lot of use.
