Keep

Keep is a relatively new social media site (started Feb. 2014) that I have been using for the past few months (you can follow me here).

When I came across Keep I questioned wether or not I needed a Keep and a Pinterest account, but I quickly released how handy the site is. You can see from my image above that it works just like Pinterest, so I thought I would introduce you to the site, plus give some tips on using it.

My favorite tabs
Keep is all about shopping! Every image that gets saved to Keep is linked to a website where you can actually purchase that item. So only things that can be purchased can be Kept. Keeps home page has a few ways you can sort through all the images:
Trending – these are the most popular saved items on Keep right now.
Feed – shows you what you are Keeping plus all the Keeps of those you follow.
Street Style – one of my favorite ways to comb their site. This tab shows images of celebrities, bloggers, or every day people with links to shop their look.
Images
Keep is an aesthetically pleasing site, much like some Instagram accounts. I like how the images are streamlined without any text underneath, but as you mouse over an image it shows you who Kept it, the cost, and how many people Kept that same image. Plus it gives you the option to like it, keep it, or share it just like Pinterest.

Items I like to Keep
Previousley I saved items I wanted to purchase on a Pinterest board, but the problem was I didn’t know where to buy the item when the time came, and the board quickly became a jumbled unorganized mess. A few of my favorite items I like to Keep are:
Books – someone is always recommending a book to me, or I come across a beautiful coffee table book that I don’t want to forget about.
Art – I would love to create a gallery wall in my home and I have plenty of ideas of how I would lay it out on Pinterest, but I needed to gather works of art to fill those frames.
Beauty Products – when I come across a makeup/hair care product review online of something I would like to try, I save it to my Keep account to purchase/try later.

Price Reductions
One of my most favorite features that Keep has is their notifications. Besides the normal notifications (like on Pinterest) someone started following you, someone liked one of your Keeps, someone Kept one of your Keeps, etc. Keep also notifies you when one of your Keep has been reduced in price!

Keepers to follow
Because Keep has only been around since February there’s not a ton of people (that you may know) on there yet, but here are a few Keepers that I like to follow:
Jenny Komenda: Interior decorator and blogger of Little Green Notebook
As Seen On Instagram: Makes shopping Instagram possible.
Amber Lewis: Also an interior decorator (blogger of Amber Interior Design) with great taste.

If you decide to get or already have a Keep account let me know. I would love to follow you.

My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby My Mother’s Day started at 4am with a nursing baby in my arms, a toddler crawling into my bed and falling asleep on my shoulder, & a doggie sleeping across my legs. 💕 They have no idea what today is, but I’m feeling so blessed to be surrounded by all my babies on Mother’s Day 👶🐶👧 Even if it was at 4am 🥱

Not pictured our dog Sydney. 🐶 I’m so tired I didn’t even notice until after we got these pictures 🤪 I knew I was forgetting something! 🙈

So thankful my SIL @thedivinemissem77 answered her phone and came quickly to stay with Audrey & my hubby @npbrady9 taking care of everything else as we rushed to the hospital. ♥️ God is so good & we couldn’t be happier with the newest member of our family 🤗
