Stocking stuffers are one of my favorite things to give and receive. Anything small enough to fit in a stocking is automatically cute right?!

We’ve been in our home for three years now and this past summer we finally started tackling a huge/messy project. The ceilings! We chose to start with our family room since it’s the room we use most often.
To be honest I wasn’t quite sold on the embroidered boot trend. I ran across these boots on sale and passed on them. They were cute and a good price, but not quite my style. When I came across these Express boots (only $12 at my local Gordmans) I decided to go ahead and give them a try.
Fall is my favorite season of the year by far, but sadly it’s usually cut short by winter. Snow has already begun to fall here and the leaves are all but gone from the trees. Before fall gives way to winter my husband and I drove around our hometown enjoying the scenery and taking pictures.
As a fashion blogger I completely agree that a smile is the pretties thing you can wear! Recently I’ve been thinking about how I could improve upon mine.
Last week my husband and I traveled to Lincoln, IL to attend the grand opening of a new Gordmans store. The one hour drive couldn’t have been more pretty thanks to the fall foliage. Before making the drive back home we tried to capture some of the beauty that we saw around us.
